Another summer past

Just a brief catch up with my life because it has been months at the least since I last posted. I now have been working at Silvercity Coquitlam with so many great people for just over 5 months now, I started last spring break and have learned almost every position there is to do. This summer has not been bad in the least, my brother and I have had two barbecues that have been plenty fun and a great success. Within the past month I have started spending more time with friends from work which I enjoy deeply. Next week my dance classes start up and I have four classes I have signed up for. Fall soccer is another thing that will be starting withing then next few days. This summer has also seen my usual lack of success in the dating scene probably due to a lack of tack on my part and maybe various other reason I can't understand. At this point I still am unsure of what exactly I will be doing with my life, I think perhaps I have been focusing to much on the fact I am still single. In the next few months or so I hope to have somethings figured out in my life so I might be able to advance it from this point where it seems to have stalled for the time being.

I don't feel tired tonight maybe because of the late nights of the LAN party where I went to bed around 7 am both mornings. Now tonight some of my friends were going to drink over at Nates house but I can't make it because my brother went snowboarding and is not comming home before then so I missed out on a good night after a boring day where nothing happened. The LAN party was plenty of fun and dance has really been getting better. I want to work more and practice so I get better at both my dances, and I can't wait for each friday now. New years was fairly good, although I had to be the DD. Christmas went well and I got many good things, I believe everyone enjoyed the gifts I got for them and that makes me happy. Recently I have not been doing much and it is rather boring, also finaly soccer was starting back up again then we got a foot of snow or so and soccer has been canceled again for a little while.

Well today was a sick day for me, and not a bad one at that. Yesterday I felt my throat being sore but I decided to go with my parents and meet some distant relatives of mine, they are like second cousins or something. When visiting I felt my voice disappearing but I kept talking as to avoid an awkward silence, and we seemed to be getting along well. This morning I awoke in good time to get ready for work but my voice was only a raspy whisper and my head was so stuffed up. I made my judgment call and went back to bed to get some more rest, and when I awoke later I had the house to myself. Quickly I grabbed Pirates of The Caribbean 2 and went on up to the couch only to find out that the movie would be waiting as it placed second to the Manchester United vs. Benefica game on the television. I snacked all day on some mandarin oranges to help my voice get better and is seems to be working but I am still talking as little as possible and letting it return. Later on in the day after plenty of resting and television I decided to take my temperature because I was feeling hot, and sure enough I have a mild fever. Tomorrow I will likely not be going to work again and will be resting so I can get better soon.

So I have been working full time for a while now and I have been saving some money. Well yesterday I used that money to buy a car, not just any car though. I bought a cobalt blue 1965 Ford Mustang and it is so amazing. All together it cost me about $100 and that was including the batteries, yes batteries. What I purchased was a remote control car, one of those Xmods to be exact (Check them out here http://www.xmodsrc.com/ ). These remote control cars are quite cool because they allow you to purchase upgrades, like better motors, new suspension, tires, neon, body kits, or even head and tail lights. I will be having plenty of fun with this car and I hope Greg decides to get one aswell then we can race because we have already found the perfect location.

Recently I have been having some problems, and it has me confused. So here is the situation, a back in the first week of October it was Dana and my one month since we had started dating but she ended up telling me her feelings had changed. For the past two months I have been fine and moving on with my life, but in the past week I have been thinking more and more about her with each day. My mind is going crazy and I just can't stop thinking as to why it was broken off or what I did, some of my friends have reassured me that these things happen and it was probably not my fault. Some of my friends have been so nice and let me just talk with them about some of this and they have great points which I agree with, but it still is not working at all and I just feel that everyone is getting on this metaphorical train even if they get off at the next stop they have gone somewhere. I feel as if I am standing around waiting for this perfect train but it is not come and I don't know if it will come.

So today at 12 noon Cypress had a new update on their website saying that in two days, on November 16th they would be opening the day hours, so from 9 am - 4 pm. The recent ammounts of snowfall that they say will be continuing to come down has allowed them to do this and it will be the 3rd earliest they have ever opened. This news is fantastic and has gotten me all excited, but I still have some things to deal with and buy such as bindings and boots. This is so aweosme and I am so excited because I have been watching the snow report on the site for days now, and it has paid off now that I have found out it opens early. Although I have work thursday I am considering calling in sick and hitting the slopes, I hope everything goes well and more snow falls too. Have a wicked sick boarding season everyone!

So today I had to get up extra early so I could go out and use the ice scraper to scrape the frost from all the windows in this -5 degree weather which was the first time so far this year, well ever... considering I have only had my license since August I have never had to deal with this before. So I was all bundled up and it was still very cold, nothing like last night due to different circumstances but that is another story for another timeAnyways, with Halloween tommorow and it quite a ways below zero already... all the frost is making it look alot like christmas and that is making me want to sing christmas carolsWell I hope everyone has a safe and happy halloween tommorow if I don't post again before then.
